They loved the humans with fierce devotion, wishing nothing but the best for their lives. The humans were flawed, however, and they eventually began to wreak chaos upon Earth and its other inhabitants. Horrified, the goddesses couldn’t believe that this happened under their watch and felt the seed of guilt sow itself into them. The seed took several forms, all of which taint the heart, and even the immortals couldn’t withstand its might. No longer did they feel the purity of their love: day turned to night, and the goddesses gave themselves up to what they felt was the only option: destructive, righteous “justice” against the crimes of humanity. The song “Hellfire” alludes to the inner battle the goddesses face - the inner battle many face - between what is right, what is wrong, and the irony of it all. ✷ Side-quests Completed ✷ Battle Item & Story |
