From http://www.crosstrainingenduro.com Mamma mia. Not just a one bella principesa, I'm surrounded by Italian princesses. Everybody thinks it's a new motorcycle brand, but they have been making motorcycles for over one hundred years. I ask a few riders if they like their Italian princesses.

Ah to be young again. If I remember rightly, Ben on his new RR300 is 15 and has only been riding two years and has been following the cross training vids avidly. Once I got used to the the 390 I remember upping the pace later in the day and he would be on my tail and I couldn't shake him. When I was his age I was riding one of these and was excited if I could get the front wheel a few inches off the ground.

Anyone who regularly watches these dodgy vids will know I'm a real fan of Clake products. I had one of the Clake Two setups but have changed over to the Clake One Light clutch now that my old fingers aren't coping too well anymore. It was very interesting to see the different bits of bling all these guys had added to their bikes. The guy leading the ride knows how to use existing Beta parts to make the standard clutch lighter for only 65 AUD, check out his vid.

It seems none of us know how to pronounce Beta correctly... we Aussies say Beta as in wife Beta. Yanks and cannucks say Beta, which I've always found odd because if you do become a very good rider that would technically make you a master Beta. But here is the genuine pronunciation.

Nowadays there is no such thing as a bad dirt bike, they are all very good and really you can't make a wrong choice. But I suspect the reason there are so many happy Beta enduro riders is because the engine characteristics and the lower seat height can make a difference for everyone. Sure Beta enduro bikes are extremely competitive bikes and win enduro championships in Europe all the time, but it's especially a bike that suits the everyday rider.

But of course, the bike you ride is only a small part of the equation, so no matter what you are riding work on your skills but above all enjoy yourself. Life, she is a short. So make the most of it, eh?
