Description:

Before we begin, I would like to thank the Lord Jesus Christ for my life, and all the gifts which I've been given in it, including the ability to make this extension. Your name be glorified, my Savior, even in something as small as this. Amen.

"I have twenty-three tiny wishes, but you probably won't remember them all, so I put them all together into one...I'd like to spend more time with you."
-Aerith Gainsborough

Aw man. She never got to ride on the airship, either.... argh, hold yourself together, man! You gotta... gotta write this desc!

....

Oh, forget it. I'm Alkahest, this is Amateur Extension Theater 2000, and yes, I get misty-eyed whenever I hear this theme, in any form. There are even times when I cry. I'm not afraid to admit it. They're manly tears, yo!

...Sniffle.

Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core is a Square-Enix RPG for the PSP. It serves as a prelude to the events in Final Fantasy VII proper, and focuses on an idealistic, noble young swordsman named Zack Fair. He dreams of becoming a SOLDIER 1st Class, but life, it seems, has plans all its own in store for him...

'A Flower Blooming in the Slums' is aptly named, for that describes Aerith Gainsborough: a gentle, innocent and unassuming flower, blooming radiantly in a dismal, desolate world all but forgotten beneath Midgar's oppressive upper plates.

A variation on Aerith's Theme (originally composed by Nobuo Uematsu) from Final Fantasy VII, Takeharu Ishimoto's take on the much beloved classic is a gentle accoustic melody that retains the simple elegance of the original, while adding a new layer of character and depth to it.

Note that, like a few other CC tracks, there was no naturally existing loop point with 'Flower'; I experimented with several possible versions, and picked the customized loop I thought sounded best. Hope you all enjoy.

Heh, I'm starting to run out of CC music, aren't I? At least, the ones I enjoy enough to extend. Interesting... still, this won't be the last of them; as to which ones I plan to do next, why not leave that a little surprise for now? Take care, viewer. Until the next time we meet.

..... honestly, like a Phoenix Down wouldn't have been worth trying. They work on people KO'd by Emerald and Ruby Weapons, fer cryin' out loud!
