Description:

I chose the word "Expire" to avoid getting monetization removed. Also, if the word choice in this description seems odd, it's probably because I'm trying to avoid getting monetization removed. Even my use of the awkward phrase "getting monetization removed" is an example of this, because I want to use a certain "DE" word, but I've heard that that word can cause itself to happen.

The credits for this video are in the pinned comment to avoid getting monetization removed.

This is the Christmas Spin-off of my series of Minecraft Comedy Montages. This one was originally released in 2017, but I had to re-upload it because it got monetization removed for having less than 10 seconds of a few copyrighted Christmas songs. This happend about two years after I published the orginal. I didn't think having such a small amount of music in the video would matter because I've been doing that for years without any problems, but here we are.

This is currently my 3rd favorite 50 ways video after the Fairy Tale one and part 6. Like the Fairy Tale video, I think it benefits from having a more universal subject than Minecraft. People who don't play Minecraft can still get the jokes in this one, and I had new material to work with since I wasn't making jokes about the same game over and over again like I usually do.

That said, Christmas turned out to be less fertile ground for making jokes about...passing on...than Fairy Tales were, so I didn't quite manage to make enough good jokes to avoid having to resort to making unfunny references to Tim Allen movies or Home Alone, so the lows of this one are lower than the lows of the Fairy Tale video.

That's not to say that references to pop culture are never funny. I still like the scene with Yukon Cornelius. But notice that that scene actually contains a joke about what might actually happen if you threw a heavy tool into the air rather than just reminding you that the claymation Rudolph movie exists. The Santa Clause clip, on the other hand, is just bringing up the fact that there was a scene in a movie where Santa fell down. That's not funny.

Luckily, there's still quite a few good jokes that I like in this video. My favorites include both of the scenes with iron golems, the "Dirt Generator", the new Android scene, the first gingerbread house scene, and the part where Santa makes an announcment to his elves. Oh, and there's also the scene with Rudolph and the jet. And the last scene. And the dreiel scene. None of these would appear on my top 10 favorite jokes in the entire series list, but there seems to be a larger number of scenes that I like in this video than usual.
