Description: Sakuya Shirase had always dreamed of becoming an actress. After several years as an idol for 283 Productions, she felt it was time to pursue her true passion. One day, her producer approached her after a training session and handed her a movie script. He had used his connections to find her a role in a movie. It was a leading role, and the director was very interested in casting Sakuya. However, there was a catch. The script required Sakuya to shave her head prior to filming. She would have to show up on set already bald and ready to go. Sakuya was taken aback by the request. She had always been proud of her long hair but after careful consideration and it being a huge opportunity, Sakuya reluctantly agreed to shave her head. Sakuya nervously sat down in the chair and closed her eyes as the producer started by cutting off her ponytail. The producer brought out the clippers and began shaving off the rest of her hair. She could feel the vibrations of the clippers against her head as the producer continued to shave off her hair. As the hair fell away, Sakuya couldn't help but feel a sense of loss and sadness. Her long locks had been a part of her identity for so long; a symbol of her time as an idol. But she knew that this was just the first step on her journey towards a new career.
