Description: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi hold a joint press conference after talks in Islamabad on Wednesday, April 7. The diplomats are expected to exchange views on current bilateral, regional and international issues with a focus on Afghanistan peace settlement and interaction on multilateral platforms, including in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and the BRICS countries. Prospects for bilateral cooperation in political, trade, economic, humanitarian and counterterrorism areas are also expected to be on agenda.
