Description: Hi, Pretties! Prom season is here!! Today I’m mixing things up a bit here on my channel. It’s been awhile since I went to prom so I decided to do makeup on Mallory. She’s a part of the SimplySona team! You may have seen her on Snapchat or heard her calling out questions on Instagram Live! For this natural glam prom look, it was all about a shimmery eye with a bold pop of red lipstick! Mallory is a huge fan of red lips, so of course it was key to the look! We wanted to keep this look natural but with a bit of extra glow--this is for prom after all! Since prom usually involves lots of dancing, it was important to ensure that this makeup was long lasting. I used a moisturizer to prep and prime Mallory’s skin, and used a translucent powder to set everything in place. Normally I would only recommend using setting powder on the T-zone and right under your eyes, but for an event like prom where you want to sweat-proof your makeup, you should use it all over your face! For her eyes, I used the Pérsona Cosmetics Identity Palette. To complement her blue eyes, I went for a golden shimmery eye look, using Goal Digger as the main shade on her lids. When it comes to eyeshadow for blue eyes, I like to use a warm gold (like Goal Digger), and burnt orange terracotta (like Audacious)!
