Why I Left YouTube

In July 2021, YouTube set all unlisted videos uploaded before 2017 to private (unless the channel owner had opted out). In the weeks leading up to this change, Archive Team archived many pre-2017 unlisted YouTube videos. If this video was uploaded before 2017 and has gone private, there is a chance that a 360p archived version can be viewed on archive.org via the site's Wayback Machine as follows:

1. Enter the YouTube URL in the Wayback Machine form or click on the following link:
https://web.archive.org/web/20210000000000*/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=by0hU3fb6TQ

2. Right-click on a blue entry in July in the calendar.

3. Click 'Copy link address'.

4. Paste the copied link address into your web browser's address bar and press enter.

Description:

To clarify, I AM NOT QUITTING. However, there was a point where I did want to quit, and here is my explanation why. Stay till the end to hear about what my channel is going to be now.
PLEASE READ:
I'm tired of being a cookie cutter channel meant to follow wherever the wind blows as far as popular topics at the moment. I will never be someone who does something for the sake of relevancy or to be "famous". I am extremely honest with myself and ALWAYS to you guys. I refuse to be someone who is afraid to talk about the negatives in life because you know what, life isn't fucking always butterflies and rainbows and this is my channel about MY LIFE. I will not sugar coat what has been going on and lie. I want to be 1000% committed to making videos I like, and instead of finding shortcuts to reach success, I want to be a trailblazer and organically build an audience who believes in me for me, not because I upload bullshit everyday for the sake of consistency. Money, fame, success, popularity is meaningless to me if I am not happy with how I achieved any of it. Creating videos is an art form and a way to express myself and who I am. I use my videos to create a voice for other people who love gaming as much as I do. I want to inspire, motivate, and teach others that you can make any dream come true no matter how much you doubt yourself or don't think you can do something BECAUSE YOU CAN.

Yes, maybe this is not the typical "YouTuber" mindset. And yes, you may tell me that YouTube is temporary and wont last so try to take advantage while you can. I say fuck that. I would MUCH rather look at what I created on my very last day of ever creating a video again and say, man I am proud of myself for staying true to myself and who I am and every accomplishment no matter how small, than to look at an even bigger channel I may have and see how in-genuine I was and how I lied to who I was as a person and sold myself for some stupid fucking online persona that will eventually be forgotten. And if you have an issue with that, then there are millions of other channels perfect for you.

You may like me, you may hate me. But regardless I am ALWAYS myself and will never be someone else for any other reason.
