In July 2021, YouTube set all unlisted videos uploaded before 2017 to private (unless the channel owner had opted out). In the weeks leading up to this change, Archive Team archived many pre-2017 unlisted YouTube videos. If this video was uploaded before 2017 and has gone private, there is a chance that a 360p archived version can be viewed on archive.org via the site's Wayback Machine as follows: 1. Auditions are also here on BTVA: http://goo.gl/Lc9t5K ---------------------------- Story Concept and Synopsis: Kin is a light-hearted, comedic, and adventurous short story set in the late 1400s to the 1500s of Northern Scotland (alternative Earth). It’s about two bumbling hybrid kids trying to survive out on the harsh landscape and get over their own selfish desires. This mini series is a test-tube baby of maybe more future content (if received well, maybe another mini-series), and the experience of completing a project (since I didn’t succeed with the writing of Chasm Crossing). With the script finalized and ready for green-light, I need actors who are willing to take up the mantel and embrace a new story and challenge with me. ------------------------------- Quinn Description: Quinn is down on his luck and often finds the world against him. He tries to remain optimistic in his day to day trials, but that in itself proves to be a challenge. He doesn’t give up without a fight though. Quinn Lines: QUINN What's with that thing? Didn't even look at the rabbit. (sneezes) I caught it with my bare hands. (holds up a fist) My BARE HANDS! QUINN Wooo (rubs hands together), lucky day. Ho ho, I can't wait. Today looks like I'll finally be sleeping with a belly full of- ...Snow? QUINN I promise... I'm trying. (serious) QUINN I give up. I... GIVE... UP. You win! There is nothing left. Just take me. (annoyed) (Non-script quote but I want to see you act with no direction. Take it however you want) QUINN This life is what you make it. No matter what, you're going to mess up sometimes, it's a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how you're going to mess it up. You are more than welcome to do several takes on each of these lines. I encourage it. ------------------------------- Neko Description: Neko is a young and playful kid. He has a load of energy and fairly naive and innocent. He finds joys in the simplest things. Alot of his actions will be expressed visually, but he still has a voice through noises he makes. Neko Lines: (this character actually doesn’t have lines, but he makes noises) -excited chirp (creativity here) -growl -laugh -whimper (stay away from a dog whimper) -tease (creativity here) OPTIONAL: Feel Free to make a misc noise that you think is cute or would like to bring to the character.
