Netflix and Chilling |
In July 2021, YouTube set all unlisted videos uploaded before 2017 to private (unless the channel owner had opted out). In the weeks leading up to this change, Archive Team archived many pre-2017 unlisted YouTube videos. If this video was uploaded before 2017 and has gone private, there is a chance that a 360p archived version can be viewed on archive.org via the site's Wayback Machine as follows: 1. Enter the YouTube URL in the Wayback Machine form or click on the following link: https://web.archive.org/web/20210000000000*/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VueX3OWCp70 2. Description: Netflix and Chill doesn't have to be about sex. We can redefine it to what the words literally mean, Netflixing and Chilling. My friends and I made this video to inspire people to get off their phone to engage with their friends IRL. Sometimes, the best way to do that is to lure them with fun card games, food, a good movie and of course, incredible company. PUMPKING SPICE KETTLE CORN Coconut Oil Kettle Corn ¼ cup cooking oil of your choice (coconut oil? or canola) ½ cup of granulated sugar (get one bag of white and one brown) ½ cup of corn kernels 1 teaspoon of salt + additional for taste Alternative Pumpkin Spice Mix = YIELDS 1/4 Cup 4 teaspoons cinnamon 2 teaspoons ginger 1 teaspoon allspice 1 teaspoon nutmeg Items A large, 6-8 quart pot with handles and a tight-fitting lid Apron 2 oven mitts wooden spoon parchment paper Pre-measure all ingredients out into small bowls Get your baking sheet ready. Use a parchment paper to line your baking sheet and place it near the stove. This will come handy after you are done popping your kettle corn. Get a pot and pour the right amount of oil into it. To check if the oil is already hot enough, it is recommended that you drop three pieces of kernel in the pot. These will be your indicators. Put the lid on top of the pot and set the heat into a medium setting. Once a kernel pop inside the pot, add in the rest of the kernels. Proceed to adding salt and sugar . If you want a sweeter taste, add ¼ cup of sugar. After pouring all ingredients, stir everything right away to coat the kernels with your seasonings. After pouring everything, shake the pot as the popcorn pops. As the popping increases, shake the pot a lot more vigorously. Do not forget to place the pot back into the burner so the heat inside it is properly maintained. Once the popping starts to slow down, remove the pot from heat. Do not wait for the popping to stop. If you do so, you will end up burning your pop corn. Pour all the contents of the pot into the baking sheet that you have prepared earlier. Spread the pop corn evenly to ensure that everything will be cooled properly. You can use a long spoon to do this. Sprinkle the pumpkin spice mix on top and mix together (add salt and sugar to taste) Allow the pop corn to cool down. This will take about five minutes to do so. Serve!
