Yaqui (Yoem Noki) Native to: Mexico, U.S. Region: Sonora, Arizona Ethnicity: Yaqui people Native speakers: 17,546 (Mexico) (2010 census) 430 (United States), 4% of ethnic population Language family: Uto-Aztecan Yaqui (or Hiaki), locally known as Yoeme or Yoem Noki, is a Native American language of the Uto-Aztecan family.
