How to remove watermark from video - 3 Easy and Simple way

In July 2021, YouTube set all unlisted videos uploaded before 2017 to private (unless the channel owner had opted out). In the weeks leading up to this change, Archive Team archived many pre-2017 unlisted YouTube videos. If this video was uploaded before 2017 and has gone private, there is a chance that a 360p archived version can be viewed on archive.org via the site's Wayback Machine as follows:

1. Enter the YouTube URL in the Wayback Machine form or click on the following link:
https://web.archive.org/web/20210000000000*/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rli-iADR7ng

2. Right-click on a blue entry in July in the calendar.

3. Click 'Copy link address'.

4. Paste the copied link address into your web browser's address bar and press enter.

In this video, we are going to show you three easy ways to remove watermark from videos by using Filmora. Download a free trial version of Filmora here: https://filmora.wondershare.com/video-editor/?utm_source=filmora_seo_channel&utm_medium=annotations&utm_campaign=archive_removewatermark

Logo or watermark is a copyright symbol for the video and thus you may not use this for commercial use or any other illegitimate use. If however you want to get rid of a network logo on the video footage captured off of television and for personal use only, this is for you.

1. Crop the watermark
The first and easiest way to remove logo from videos is by using the cropping method. If the logo is a small one and located right in the corner of your video, then you can crop that specific area to remove the watermark. This will lose part of your video but the video keeps clean. Here is how to do it with Filmora:
First, make sure you have Filmora installed in your computer.
Now import the video footage to Filmora, drag and drop it to the video track on the timeline below. Select the video clip, and then click on this Crop icon here. You can resize the cropping area by dragging the corners of the rectangle here, or reposition the target area. When done, click “Ok” to apply.

2. Blur the watermark
If you just want to make the watermark less obvious instead of eliminating it completely, blur the watermark by using the mosaic feature can be a good solution. To do this in Filmora, click on the “Power Tool” icon in the toolbar here, go to “Mosaic”, check “Apply Mosaic to the clip”. Now click “Add”, there will be a mosaic square appear on the video. You can resize it, or reposition it to the watermark area. Or if you have two or more logos to cover, you can further click the “Add” button to add more mosaic effects.
When done, click “Ok” to apply as well.

3. Replace the watermark
If you completely don't want the watermark to be shown on the video, and don’t want to lose any part of your video by cropping it, a good solution to that is by replacing the watermark with a new one. This can be easily done with Filmora.
Just import your own logo to the media file. Then drag and drop it to the PIP track here. You may drag the end of the image file to customize its duration. Now there will be a yellow square on the preview window. You can resize the watermark image, and reposition it to cover the original watermark.

There you go! The old watermark is covered with a new one!
