In July 2021, YouTube set all unlisted videos uploaded before 2017 to private (unless the channel owner had opted out). In the weeks leading up to this change, Archive Team archived many pre-2017 unlisted YouTube videos. If this video was uploaded before 2017 and has gone private, there is a chance that a 360p archived version can be viewed on archive.org via the site's Wayback Machine as follows: 1. Enter the YouTube URL in the Wayback Machine form or click on the following link: https://web.archive.org/web/20210000000000*/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCxF_A-T2rU 2. Right-click on a blue entry in July in the calendar. 3. Click 'Copy link address'. 4. Paste the copied link address into your web browser's address bar and press enter.
Description: I think I've never worked an an edit as long as on this one. I've started some days after I got Internet again, which had been around the start of october. It was also the first time where I didn't rush myself in terms of editing and polished my work until I was really happy about it and got the feeling that this is the best I can achieve rightnow. There were many days, where I didn't do anything for this edit or just one effect or velocity structure, but I was able to not feel bad about it. This was something I wasn't able to for a very long time. But here I just didn't care about how long this will take me, just about the quality of the end-product. Firstly I was pretty much against the idea of apping to A8 because I used the same song as Niight did in his app and I was also going for a similar kind of 2D animation fx. Even if I started this edit, naively believing nobody else had used this song, I soon had to discover that this was pretty wrong. Phan convinced me in the late phase of finisihing this, to do otherwise because he thought my edit was just too beautiful. So I'm hoping for the best feedback from A8, a team which I always looked up to. I will probably upload the clips and cinematics if I reach around 50 likes. The song should be pretty well known, it's "Say my name" from Odesza. :) The players are Cavy, Maya and Parkie. I used parts of SB's Peter Pan CC again and adjusted them.
