We see flashbacks of their relationship - Hook + Emma in Neverland, Hook proposing, Emma confessing her love, and we also see Emma being buried at sea. Hook kills Cora as revenge for her taking away his love, and then he does the one thing that he can think of to be reunited with Emma again. But then I added that ending in, 'cause I was feeling all angsty and sad and dying with feels. Oh, + for the purposes of this video, Hook doesn't lose his hand until after 0:30 ;) (because I forget sometimes that he's only supposed to have one hand).
