Tim Whybrow - Don't Destroy It For Me (Ft. Adina Purton) (Original song)

In July 2021, YouTube set all unlisted videos uploaded before 2017 to private (unless the channel owner had opted out). In the weeks leading up to this change, Archive Team archived many pre-2017 unlisted YouTube videos. If this video was uploaded before 2017 and has gone private, there is a chance that a 360p archived version can be viewed on archive.org via the site's Wayback Machine as follows:

1. Enter the YouTube URL in the Wayback Machine form or click on the following link:
https://web.archive.org/web/20210000000000*/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nsbpb9g4rv0

2. Right-click on a blue entry in July in the calendar.

3. Click 'Copy link address'.

4. Paste the copied link address into your web browser's address bar and press enter.

Description:

Hi guys, here's an original I wrote and recorded this week. I was unable to sing the high parts in key because I wanted to get the harmonica in there, so I grabbed my great friend Adina to sing the verses.

Lyrics:

Every artist has different opinions shapes and views
The topics vary depending on the moveable tunes
But a question I confront I have withheld
why should we compete a euphoric feature of this world

the love and hate, the moods it creates
the messages we can send out with a tune
Fuck the violence, fuck the judging, keep it fresh and free
Its what music should aim to do

Chorus:
Please tell me why oh why can't you see
Please show me why oh why this is how should it be
Please explain why oh why you have to
Please detail why oh why you must persue.. and destroy it for me

Everybody knows of a song, with a catchy feel
If the forefront is violent then the tune will overfill
Sing along to words, don't stop or think about a thing
Its what the artist intended, you shouldn't care, just sing

It escaping the structure of a story tune
No messages, just rhymes you can presume
I haven't lived to long but I can see the changes
I just wana know is this normal for our generation
