In July 2021, YouTube set all unlisted videos uploaded before 2017 to private (unless the channel owner had opted out). In the weeks leading up to this change, Archive Team archived many pre-2017 unlisted YouTube videos. If this video was uploaded before 2017 and has gone private, there is a chance that a 360p archived version can be viewed on archive.org via the site's Wayback Machine as follows: 1. Enter the YouTube URL in the Wayback Machine form or click on the following link: https://web.archive.org/web/20210000000000*/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYdP5seJ77g 2. Right-click on a blue entry in July in the calendar. 3. Click 'Copy link address'. 4. Paste the copied link address into your web browser's address bar and press enter.

Because there are those children who Eren smiles at when he leaves in the morning... he sees himself in them, he's finally accomplished his dream, to be in recon, he couldn't be happier. He knows people will die, but he's trained for 5 years now. He can make a difference. He can save people. Which is why the return of the recon was so upsetting. Eren sees the kids he smiled at earlier, the kids cheering on the recon. In the span of a day his entire squad, his friends, died. He believes he could have saved them, if only, if only. He sees the kids and he is crushed by reality. He can't even save his friends, let alone humanity. EREN. Who's motivation and resolve is intensely cemented in him. Is breaking. He's devastated, I don't even want to think about what he is telling himself while he lies in the cart, crying. His arm over his mouth. That's the worst kind of crying you know? He's trying so hard not to break down, but he can't stop crying. Mikasa can't help him. Crying doesn't help him. Nothing can help him. He's alone with his thoughts in that moment.
