With the support of Yoshimoto Kogyo, which has the production know-how, local residents participate in all aspects of film production, including writing the script and starring in the film, thereby reaffirming the fun and joy of making things and their love for their hometown. In 2017, his ninth film as a director, ``Born, Bone, Grave Sound.'' won the Excellence Award in the Japan category at the Short Shorts Film Festival. ◆Regional commentary Okinawa City, Okinawa Prefecture) Okinawa City is known as an international culture and tourism city, the city of Eisa, and the city of music, and is home to many events such as the Okinawa All-Island Eisa Festival and the Peace Love Rock Festival. Although it became Okinawa City in 1974, many people still refer to it by its former name, ``Koza''. The center of Koza is Koza Gate Street, which runs from the Kadena Air Base entrance to Goya Crossroads. Koza has a unique overseas atmosphere, with neon signs in English and dollar signs.
