There's very little information about this footage, other than it was taken in New York harbor when it was foggy. The first series of clips were probably taken from the Fall River Line's pier at the foot of Fulton Street, and show a pair of McAllister tugboats headed out into the harbor. The second series of clips were taken on an unknown ferry boat as it makes its way through the fog. The film gives us an idea how busy the harbor was, even in adverse conditions. And in the days before radar and radiotelephones, fog was a major hazard.
