Angel Aromatics balsa wood flowers make the perfect flower for a bouquet.

Balsa flowers are the new eco-friendly trend in flowers, as they can be used over and over again unlike real flowers that die in a couple of days

- Balsa wood flowers (also called tapioca flowers or shola sola flowers) are hand carved from wood.
- They look like real, intricate flowers, but they will never wilt or die. So you will be able to keep your bouquet forever or pass it on to your daughters!
- You won't have to worry about trying to preserve your bouquet as these flowers will not wilt or die.
- You can also make them MONTHS in advance and customise them for your personality
- they can be fragranced in your wedding day perfume (or unscented for brides & bridesmaids with flower allergies).

How to make a Bouquet - Materials
- approximately 30 balsa wood stemmed flowers
- a mixture of artificial floristry supplies / botanicals / feathers
- rattan reeds or sticks
- masking tape
- fabric or ribbon to cover (+ pins or needle and thread)

How to make a Bouquet - Instructions
1) Bend the flower heads up to make a T shape (with the flower head on top)

2) Choose your centre flower (the biggest and most round).

3) Using one hand to hold and one hand to assemble, slowly start building a bundle. Work around the centre flower in an outwardly circular pattern to fill out.

4) once you have made the first outer ring of flowers, wrap your bundle with masking tape.

5) add any floristy pieces (I taped the pieces to rattan reeds).

6) continue with your next outer ring of flowers, the floristry pieces then masking tape. Repeat until the bouquet is the size you require.

7) Push down any floristry pieces that stick out and make sure the bouquet is nice and even in height.

8) Cut the bouquet to the correct stem height. Wrap well with masking tape.

9) wrap with your chosen ribbon (use a few layers for a thick stem) - I used my husband's family tartan then I sealed with pins and sewed it shut with matching thread.

10) My father is no longer here so I wrapped on with twine a little photo frame of him so it would still be as if he 'walked me down the aisle' - if you have someone special that is no longer here, you can do this too. It's so nice to have them still a special part of your day :)

The whole process took me under an hour.
