Star wars music and intro credits Abruptly cut Spoiler warning. #5 in star wars theme The background of Finn Finn doesn’t know his real name and has been taken at birth to be trained as a storm trooper. So that means no one knows what he looked like young and no one knows his real name to piece together his parents. It is said Finn could be Mace Windu’s son and even Sam L Jackson has joked about it when meeting John Boyega at a party. This would explain why Finn could use a lightsaber so well the first time. Or Finn is Lando Calrissians son. Lando played a major role in destroying the second death star. Billy Dee Willams said “ I uh.. I may very well.. I have a feeling I’m going to show up”. #4 The death of Luke Skywalker If episode 8 is going to follow the sensei death trend then it is possible skywalker will die. Yoda dies before completing lukes training and knowing if he will succeed, Ben Kenobi dies before seeing how Luke will do and Qui-Gon Jin dies. Rey finds luke skywalker at the end of the movie suggesting that he will train her and if the films follow the pattern then bye bye luke skywalker. #3 The Knights of Ren These followers of Ren get one brief scene during reys flashback. JJ Abrams and his team have briefly spoke of the mysterious new organization but have given nothing away. There is the Jedi Master and the Jedi knight, the idea is that there will now be sith lords and the knights of ren. They will spread across the universe as the enforces of the first order like the jedi did for the old republic. #2 The grind The 2nd movie in a planned trilogy is usually the unexciting one. The bulk of Empire strikes back is dedicated to showing luke skywalkers training under yoda, its not super exciting but it’s a key point to the narrative and builds character story. Also its been made clear that Kylo Ren is ready to start the final part of his training under snoke which means we might be able to find out who snoke is and why he is so big in the hologram. Luke will be hesitant to train rey because he doubts himself just like yoda didn’t want to train luke before. The idea is that episode 8 will basically be watching them train with back story as though they are getting ready for the title fight. #1 Rey’s family Rey is luke skywalkers daughter. Lukes lightsaber calls to her and she senses it. This suggests she is a skywalker daughter, but in that case she could also be Leia’s daughter as she is also a skywalker. Rey also uses the jedia mind trick on a storm trooper when shes tied up. It is obvious use of the force just like “THESE ARENT THE DRIODS YOU ARE LOOKING FOR” The internet has come up with the idea that when ren turned on the jedi’s in training it forced luke to send his daughter away to be safe and then in episode 7 Ren loses his cool when he finds out that ‘a girl’ has been causing trouble for him, suggesting he knows of her existence. BUT THEN WHO IS REYS MUM? Of course this is all just speculation but it does fit very well. Do you think any of these predictions can come true? What ones are most likely?
