Mary Beth Wilhelm will discuss her team's recent discovery of water on Mars, what's next for Mars, and her recent work looking for biosignatures in the most martian place on Earth. Mary Beth Wilhelm is a planetary scientist in the Space Science and Astrobiology Division at NASA Ames Research Center and a PhD Candidate at Georgia Tech. She received her bachelor's from Cornell University in Earth Science. Her primary research is focused on studying the preservation of chemical biomarkers in terrestrial Mars analog environments such as the Atacama Desert. This talk was hosted by Boris Debic. |
