BEST TIPS FOR PUBLIC SPEAKING Use Google Slides to Prepare Your Decks for Public Speaking: https://google.com/slides Always bring your own HDMI cables and adapter, but be prepared to go on stage without your slides in case of technical issues. Film your speaking engagements so you have footage for your speaker reel. When possible get video testimonials from your attendees afterward and a written testimonial from the event coordinators. Get testimonials from other speakers too. When packing for a trip for speaking, have some outfits set aside specifically for travel at all times and have a "ready" bag. Find out whatever speaking engagements the event coordinators are involved with. Ask other speakers where they are speaking next and if you have a good relationship, ask for an introduction to the event coordinator.
